Vancouver Code Camp Rocked

Yesterday, approximately 150 people in and around the Vancouver area came together to talk about code. The Vancouver Code Camp, organized by Rob Chartier (Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP)) et al., featured two concurrent tracks with a total of 17 speakers. Some of the topics covered included the .NET Compact Framework, ASP.NET Security, .NET NukeNMock, NUnit, and many more!

There were a lot of highlights for me during the event. I had a great discussion with Owen Rogers from ThoughtWorks (continuous integration wonk) about XAML, I was able to meet up and chat with Rory Blyth, Kent Alstad impressed all of us with his on-the-fly troubleshooting, and Mike Mason (ThoughtWorks) talked about NMock. All in all, there was a lot of cool stuff to see and talk about.

During the day, I also recorded some interviews with folks at the event. I hope to have these online soon. (Stay tuned.)

Many thanks to the organizers of the Vancouver Code Camp. I had a great time.
