Microsoft Canada Developer Advisor
[.NET Framework] Windows CardSpace Resources (From realDEVELOPMENT_06)

Recently, I've been thinking a lot about digital identity. It's a really interesting topic and it's amazing to see how much excitement there is for the industry to come together and try and resolve the "Internet identity crisis". This was clearly evident during the realDEVELOPMENT_06 tour. After each presentation on Windows CardSpace (WCS), I was approached by lots of folks asking for more information and more context. At that time, I promised that I'd post some links to my blog... so here they are:

Getting Started

Provides context for the existing Internet identity crisis facing users today. Highly recommended.

A high-level overview of Windows CardSpace (WCS) by Keith Brown (security wonk at Pluralsight).

Demos and Security Token Services

An experimental online identity management service. End users can register using Windows CardSpace (WCS) to sign into registered Websites. Used by the Microsoft Live Labs Relay Service.

An excellent demonstration showing how Windows CardSpace (WCS) integrates with heterogenous environments. Demo running on PHP and Linux. Includes source code.

Sadly, no. However, there are numerous examples available at the Windows CardSpace portal. Worth checking out.
