[Events] Developer Night in Canada (DNIC) User Group Tour
Starting on September 6th with the Winnipeg .NET User Group, the Developer Night in Canada (DNIC) user group tour will feature Developer Advisors from MSDN Canada talking about Web application development with Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) and ASP.NET "Atlas". In total, we plan to visit twenty (20) user groups across Canada.

For the majority of stops, the abstract reads as follows:
ASP.NET "Atlas" makes it easy to build rich, interactive Web-based applications for personalized Web experiences. It provides a framework that includes a suite of ASP.NET server controls, Web services, and JavaScript libraries. In this session, you'll learn about ASP.NET "Atlas" and how this framework makes it dramatically easier to develop richer Web experiences.
Please note that we made exceptions for some user groups where topics like Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) and ASP.NET "Atlas" had been recently discussed.

For those of you planning to attend this event, I would recommend checking out ASP.NET "Atlas" - download the bits and play around with the SDK samples. They're pretty darn cool. Also, be sure to have a look at the Windows Live Dev. It's full of news and information about Windows Live and its associated SDKs. Finally, if you haven't already done so, download & install the Windows Live Toolbar. It rocks. Not only does it has integrated search, but it also protects you against spoofing and viruses.
I look forward to see you during the tour!
