I have participated in and led many Enterprise Architecture reviews over time - and I wanted to call out a pattern - what you might think of as Framework Bingo i.e. looking to populate the cells as the primary activity and a 'my framework is more comprehensive than yours and I have more artifacts on more cells than your EA team' attitude.

EA Frameworks can be great tools for thinking about the problem space - but thats where they stop - they are by no means a silver bullet.

Using an EA Framework doesnt guarantee success; nor are they the end goal - the end goal is create business value.

ps - I am not referring to frameworks as in the .NET Framework - but such things as the Zachman Framework, the FEAF, DODAF etc.
