Jeff Nuckolls {Application Platform and Development Tools}

Here you'll find a little of everything as it relates to the Microsoft Application Platform (Biztalk, Visual Studio Developer tools, SQL Server, Windows, .NET development/architecture, etc...). I may even touch on WSS/MOSS from time-to-time. While my blogs are widely applicable to all verticals, I'm dedicated to the Education vertical (K-12 and Higher Education).
.NET Development in Academia - ASP.NET on Linux

Since I'm always talking to Education institutions (both K-12 and Higher Ed) about .NET Development Tools and Technologies, I thought it would good to share a blog posted from a good friend and former colleague (Alex Lowe) about Students using ASP.NET to create applications on Linux.  Although I could go on forever about the benefits of .NET Development on Windows and the productivity of using Visual Studio .NET I think this blog takes a different approach in that it speaks volumes about the power of .NET and the importance of .NET to Academia.

If you are interested in learning more about .NET cirriculum check out the MSDNAA.net Cirriculum Repository.
