Do you know Microsoft?

I was wondering if you feel like you know Microsoft and how much of that matters?  I hope this is not a strange  question, but I think it does has some value so I decided to ask it.  I don't know that it matters a lot about what technology you are using, but do you feel there is a Microsoft employee/expert behind that technology.  If there is an employee, do you try to find articles and resources by that expert or are you unable to find a Microsoft face behind that product?

Microsoft France has an interesting site that contains biographies:
http://www.microsoft.com/france/education/contact/

This site seems pretty interesting.  If you find the Microsoft face important, then I would be happy to hear from you and what you would like to see.

Some time ago I looked at MS as a software giant doing all that funny windows ;) Now, with all those blogs, after attending devdays and other recent MS "opens" - I see real people doing real things. Most awesome thing is that I can really ask people about this and that and GET answer right in my mail box, blog comment page or whatever. Amazing!

What I personally miss to finish the picture, is "Ask appropriate expert" page for questions I don't know whom to address.

Before I worked at Microsoft I slowly came in contact with more and more people that worked there. All bright, all hard-working, all trying to do the best they could for customers. Some were nicer, some were more accessible, some were easier to get to know. In the end, I decided to throw in with the whole lot of them. I want to keep that customer/community connection. Blogs has been a great way to do so.
