Hello World!

Okay, that was cliche but it will do.  As you might be able to tell by the address of this blog, my name is Jeremy Kelley.  I've recently joined Microsoft, and the Developer Solutions team in particular as a Program Manager.  So why am I here and what can you expect from this blog?  Well if you're familiar with some of the other blogs from my team, Josh Ledgard, Sara Ford, Joe Morel, you may know a little about what the Developer Solutions team is here to do.  If not, well at a high level we're here to make the experience of working with the Microsoft developer tools as good as it can be.  Whether we're doing that by improving communication with the community, or developing PowerToys to support the core tools, we're committed to making sure that you (the developer) are satisfied.

So what am I going to do with this space?  Well I plan to use it for a lot of things.   I will certainly be using this space to post announcements about the team and our releases.  I'll also be sharing any great tips I find for working with the Microsoft development environments.  And one of the most important things I'll be using this space for is to get your feedback and suggestions.  I'll do my best to respond to questions people leave in comments here or to get any suggestions people have, whether they be PowerToy related or otherwise, routed to the appropriate place.

So until I have something more to say, here are some links to check out:

MSDN Forums - A great resource to ask questions and get involved in the developer community

CodePlex - Join us in the PowerToy development!  At CodePlex you can get involved in a myriad of different projects, some driven by us, and lots driven by the community.
