中国网民人数达到 2.98 亿
根据 CNNIC 发布的第23次中国互联网络发展统计报告显示，中国的网民数量达到了 2.98 亿人，中国网民数量的年增长率为 41.9%，中国在 2008 年一跃成为全球互联网人数最多的国家。宽带网民规模也占到总网民人数的 90.6%。
