I tried to SVN-2-TFS by a company called Kyrosoft and it worked very well for my CVS code migration to TFS. Essentially what I did was - I converted cvs2svn, which is a very stable release and then converted from SVN to TFS using SVN-2-TFS. SVN is free anyway.

Hi Jim,

I got a small problem.

Somebody was working on a checkout file from TFS. Then that guy left without cheking it in. Now his id is disabled. How can we solve this issue.

Was wondering if there is a way to export a link to a requirements work item to an Excel spreadsheet. This is different than opening up a query in Excel that is directly tied to VSTF (publish from sheet directly back to VSTF).

I want to put one link to each requirement we have into a separate cell in Excel and when that link is selected, it will take the user to VSTF instance and open the requirement.

CS-Converter is no longer available. Until there is a tool that enables us to fully convert our CVS repositories to TFS, including branch/tag information, it looks like we will have to stay with CVS

Have you looked at the CVS to TFS migration tool from Timely Migration (www.timelymigration.com)?
