&lt;p&gt;That's incredible.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It's advice I keep giving to friends, particularly in the context of parenting autistic kids.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I put it a little differently - catch your kid doing something right, even if it's only by accident, and praise him for it, and you'll teach good behaviour.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Your kid's a non-stop screamer and won't keep quiet? Put her in her 'safe place' and close the door. As soon as she's quiet, even if it's just to draw breath, open the door and make a big fuss about her.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Nice to hear that the same can work for employees.&lt;/p&gt;
