Pascal Recchia and Anthony Guérot from Mexedge just published a new article: "Provide an improved user experience to your DSL's" about how to use WPF with your DSLs even in Visual Studio 2008. The technology they use is similar to what we ship in the DSL Tools for Visual Studio 2010.
