White paper Webcasts provide an additional method for IT professionals to learn and assimilate networking technologies and how Microsoft products can be used to leverage those technologies in scenarios. White papers are comprehensive information resources and good for customers who can learn by reading. White paper Webcasts are introductory information resources and are good for visual-oriented customers that can learn by watching.

The white paper Webcast is not a replacement for the white paper. The combination of a white paper and its corresponding webcast is a two-tier model for disseminating technical information:

1. The white paper webcast is designed to present the basic information quickly.
2. The printed white paper is designed to present the basic and detailed technical information and act as a technical resource.
