Within these docs you'll find data on servers, server topologies, system sizing, figuring out requests per second, understanding performance characteristics and guidance around features, such as folders vs. no folders. 

Please use the mechanism to provide feedback.  The perf team needs to know if this meets your needs.  I as well and interested in what your looking for beyond what these papers provide.

Joel, the ISP hosting environments does not have any documents yet. As a Microsoft Partner and one area that we are focusing on is hosting both Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and WSS 3.0 and we are looking for any technical or white pages on hosting.

Some of the unique environments in MOSS (such as ISP, Excel, etc..) are still coming over the next couple of months.  I'll post links when they become available.

Do you happen to know how to get the load tool (WSSDW.exe) mentioned in the chapter? I couldn't find it on the MS website.

Hey Joel, do you know where we can find the SharePoint test data load tool (wssdw.exe)  - there is an article about it here http://technet2.microsoft.com/Office/en-us/library/6ee9d37b-0de2-4040-93a1-fdba948bb6bb1033.mspx?mfr=true

but I don't find it in a MOSS install...
