Teched SEA SharePoint Partners
Sorry if I miss out on anyone, but wanted to share who's here.
K2 is in full force here with flat screens and showing off what was once called the "black pearl", which was released last month. If you're looking to do advanced workflows or don't like our web UI, I recommend you check these guys out. You notice them as the big label on all the backpacks as well. They've been with us for a long time and are a good partner with very strong presence in the region.
Skelta the other workflow guys are here as well. I stopped by and asked the person if many SharePoint people stopped by, and she said what? No, lots of different industries. I think she misunderstood me.
Nintex - My friends from Nintex (remember smart libraries, the first recycle bin?) are here as well. They've got a tight program and don't forget OBS a great SI if you live in Austrialia. They are extremly knowledegable. They have a bunch of SharePoint Solutions and have been partners for a long time. I still use a couple of the slides from the OBS guys in my governance presentation.
WebParts360 - A Local vendor with a lot of promise. I spent an hour with these guys looking at their web parts and enhancements. Very interesting dashboards, calendaring views and functionality. They have skills.
Mindsharp has a presence with indepent consultant and trainer Milan Gross presenting. He's quite the dancer! You'll have to ask him about his experience with the Malaysian idol runner up from 2004!
Interknowlogy an important SharePoint SI from Southern California is represented by their CEO Tim Huckaby, who is also speaking. I caught up with him in a customer meeting on .NET and SharePoint. We both enjoyed talking about the power of SharePoint Products & Technologies. I hear he's a long time visitor of TechED SEA. He says this is his 7th year! You might be familiar with them from one of the SharePoint Server governance papers that I worked on with Scott Case.
