I agree and strongly encourage others to consider the installaation of WSS 3.0 SP1 and Office SharePoint Server 2007 SP1. I had 3 support cases last week that consumed more resources than they should have. In the end, SP1 ws the hero and saved 3 different customers from consuming more time trying to work around errors that had been fixed. Applause from the field to SP1.

Hey Joel,

Good timing.

"Plan to deploy SharePoint Server 2007 Globally” was what our customer were looking.  Although, Bob Fox and I are already recommending the similar design as its laid out in this article.

Will catch you in Seattle during SharePoint conference this March.

In some case, the SP1 installer stop with error but this SP1 is declared installed on the server.

The problem is all sites are stopped for don't have corrupted data.

I post the solution (in french sorry) for rerun the SP1 :

This case is tested on 2 WSS Farms for this time with success.
