WSS version number in the Word 2003 document

We have now the third version of Team Services and it is called Windows SharePoint Services V3. It is now possible to have a better handling of version controlling means Major and Minor versions in a document library. Why not have this information also

WSS V3 DocLib file version information also in Word 2003

I will start with my first blog here and explain how to get the WSS V3 version information into an Office 2003 Word document. Later I will also post how to do that with Office 2007 Word. First of all you need: - Visual Studio 2005SP1 - C# or VB.NET knowledge
