I am a dedicated support engineer in the Microsoft Premier Field Engineering organization and have worked with SQL Server since 1997. I'm responsible for proactive and reactive support of enterprise customer environments. When time permits, I write and review technical books and articles.  My latest book is SQL Server 2008 Transact-SQL Recipes. 

Goal of this blog?

• I'll blog about SQL Server topics that I find interesting
• I'll also blog about customer or colleague issues\questions\gotchas on edge topics that I think are minimally represented or documented 
• Once in a blue moon I'll also point to links that are important or deserve another look
