We just posted a beta of Acrylic, a vector illustration product coming soon from Microsoft.  Microsoft bought a product called Expression a couple of years ago from Creature House, and a small team led by the long-time architect/developer/artist/man-about-town has been adding features and polishing the product for re-release for about 12 months now. 

It's not a typical Microsoft app, as you can tell just from looking at the interface, but it is *very* cool.  Congrats to the guys on the team.

Fascinating by the way to read Slashdot and see how this is being spun.  Uh, no guys...this isn't going to be a required download for every copy of Windows in the future...
