I have the exact same problem. Except, I have an XV6800 with OneNote Mobile pre-installed. It also will not sync with OneNote on my laptop.

I do not even have the option under content settings in Windows Mobile Device Center to synchronize OneNote.

So, I followed your article. But it still has not fixed my problem. I still have no option to sync OneNote in the content settings of WMDC. Which is a shame.

I sure would like to find a solution to this.

Can you verify that only one copy of OneNote has been installed on the device? And do any applications sync after deleting and recreating the sync partnership?

Thanks, and sorry for the problems,

I did verify that only one copy of OneNOteMobile is on the device. It is in the windows folder.

The other applications do sync after recreating the partnership though they synced just fine before I deleted the old one.

It just seems to be a problem with OneNote.

This started when I switched devices. I don't think the old one (XV6700) had OneNote pre-installed. But it synced just fine. The XV6800 doesn't, though.

Which is a shame, because I love ON and use it often on the computer.

Ed
