Rick LaPlante announces new entry level pricing for Team Foundation
Rick LaPlante just announced some great news - listening to customers
In a nutshell, we're going to place a version of Team Foundation Server in each Visual Studio Team Role edition, restricted to a maximum of 5 users. I'm sure there will still be heated debate, but hopefully this will address the folks who were feeling the most pain with our earlier pricing announcement. It means that small organizations or consultants can now get cost effective access to all the Team Foundation Server functionality - and it won't be just something that is only affordable to organizations of 20+ people.
If it wasn't for the blogging community, maybe we wouldn't have heard this feedback so clearly and been able to respond - thanks folks.
