Team Foundation Notification RSS feeds? Maybe...

I hinted in my last post that there was a reason I was prompted to get Newsgator running again.

Well, the good news is that Jeff Lucovsky has been experimenting with implementing an RSS feed generator for Team Foundation Version Control check-in notifications and has just deployed it onto our internal dogfood server.

So far it's not fully baked, but it's still great to see it in in the works. However, I'm not making any promises about if/when/how we'd actually ship it. It definitely is not in our current v1.0 feature set. It is possible it could become a sample of some sort, but it's much too early to say at this point.

I know, I know, I'm teasing you. But at least you now know it's possible...

I have written a component that has done this for VSS 6.0 and it has proved to be very valuable from a communications prospective. I really hope that it is integrated, in some way shape or form, in to the product.
