There isn't currently any detailed coverage of CTI support in the Speech Application SDK documentation so to have some samples which show how it's done will be extremely valuable to anyone wanting to integrate Microsoft Speech Server into a call center.

Description: Effective computer-telephone integration (CTI) is essential to contact center solutions. Join us online to explore specific CTI implementations in a Microsoft® speech-enabled contact center. With sample code, learn how to use the Microsoft Speech SDK to create advanced features like screen pops to display caller data collected by the speech sever before a call is transferred to the agent. You'll see how these features can help your organization can save effort and expense.

My favorite quote:

“By using its familiar Visual Studio tools, Pritchett said, SAICS was able to develop and deploy its application using Speech Server for at least half the cost and in a quarter of the time.“

This is in comparison with developing the application for a competitive speech platform, with other tools. Nice to know we're making people more productive.
