SaaS Opportunities for Singapore ISV’s
I recently did a presentation describing the value proposition for a local software producer to convert their product from a “On Premise” model to a Software as a Service(SaaS) model. Local software developers face many challenges going “Global” with their products. The SaaS model provides these companies the ability to extend their customer base worldwide. The challenge however is creating a robust and scalable infrastructure to support the products and services they may offer.
Many of MS Big Brains are hard at work on this issue and have published resources associated with this issue. Their are also some global programs availible to help ISV make this transition.
