Office and a short, bald man

Create your own OneNote PowerToy

I like OneNote. A lot. I was surprised at one point by how many people used it on a non-laptop computer. Many people do. I didn't see the utility. I have a Tablet PC, and it's essential. But, on a desktop? Well, I now use it often on my desktop as well (syncing is on my wishlist...hmmm). Anyway, with OneNote SP1, we added extensibility to OneNote. It's a baby step, but it's cool. Basically, you can import content into OneNote. Andrew May has blogged extensively about it. I have blogged about it. It's cool stuff.

Well, Chris Pratley should be pleased to see the marketing team promoting a contest to encourage developers out there to create OneNote powertoys. Look, you can waste money on lottery tickets and get nothing. Or, you can have something to show for your effort and create a powertoy! I have one in development (no kidding). But, I can't win the contest because I work here. Crazy times.

Rock Thought for the Day: I like the Toadies from the 90's. Don't hear of them much, but every now and then a song comes through.

Rock On
