Amanda Murphy's Weblog Xbox :: Technology :: Busin said:

John West has a couple of great posts that I want to point to (He makes it sooo hard to choose just one). The first is pointing to a recent whitepaper on the customization / personalization of the "Mysite" in SharePoint Portal Server.  This is a good resource for when users ask you what they can do with their personal sites and how they can use them - some very basic customization steps are listed (using web parts, modifying content etc...)The second is related to the Default Security Rights in SharePoint.  This will be a useful reference for me some point down the road I am sure.  I am noticing that I am referring back to my weblog and others a lot more frequently lately when I am in the trenches and need to quickly look up an item that I have read recently on a blog.  My SharePoint search folders in Outlook are turning into an excellent offline resource library....
