I have a very intresting question for you :) You seam like a very capable person and i really need some help in some functional testing regarding offline files.

You see the problem is as follow:

I must test a softver which sits on the network if it behaves correctly. So i have some offline files set. The question is that... Does windows behave the same way when i'm pulling out the cable or when i'm simply restarting the computer and pull out the cable while it's not running?

You see there are two main scenarios:

First : pull out the cable do some change put it back then do a manual sync.

Second : Restart your computer, while it's not running pull out the cable, when windows boots up edit the offline file, restart again, while it's not running put the cable back, and after windows boots in check the result.

The question is that these two scenarios should produce the same result or not?

I really hope that i discribed the problem correctly and understandable.

Thank you for your kind answer in advise,

Sincerely,

Gergely.

re: Announcing the beta release of System Center Capacity Planner 2007

Hi,

I have used the Franklin planner software as far back as their Ascend product. I gave up on Plan Plus, as I am still unable to get around the synchronization problems. I have called tech support numerous times with on answers and no help. It is a real shame when a company of the caliber of Franklin Covey ignores customer complaints and continues to sell this faulty product.

If anyone has found a way to use this product with Window’s XP and Palm Life drive, please let me know.
