Developer position on my team

Our group, Server and Tools Online (STO), is part of the Developer Division business that develops ASP.NET, IIS and Visual Studio.  STO’s mission is to redefine how our customers, developers and IT professionals like yourself, experience our products online by building innovative web applications like Forums, Blogs, Search, MSDN and TechNet. We’ll be working first hand on these community based applications and will be encouraged to push the envelope of current thinking on what developers and IT pros want from Microsoft.  You’ll be responsible designing and developing web applications, smart clients and web services using our latest technologies including C#, ASP.NET 3.5, IIS 7.0, WCF and SQL Server 2008. 

 

Required skills:

·         3+ years enterprise web development experience

·         C#

·         .NET Framework

·         ASP.NET 2.0

·         Object Oriented Design

·         DHTML, JavaScript, CSS

·         XML/XSLT

·         SQL Server 2005

Bonus skills:

·         AJAX

·         Silverlight

·         TDD

·         Syndication Technologies (RSS, ATOM)

·         Windows and Web Service development experience

 

Candidates must have a BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
