What makes a good user experience?

I'm catching up on old (last month at least) Polymorphic Podcasts with Craig Shoemaker (no - not the comedian but the Sharepoint expert, ASP Insider, ASP.NET MVP and so on guy)... I listed to this one recently and there were a ton of good points that Criag and his guest Chris Pirillo brought up. In short - the User Experience (UX) is more than just the "pretty" on the software. One of the simpler points, but one that most don't think about is finding and launching the application like http://gada.be is easy to type on a cell phone where as http://gada.mobile is really hard to type on a 9 key mobile.
