Maybe I'm just getting more bitter with old age, but it seems that lately, applications tend to piss me off more frequently. Today's "oh, I just want to smash my monitor in" moment comes from my RSS reader which decided to display a popup over the news/blog entries. I can deal with random feature advertisements, but ones that are in your face and don't have a dismiss button are really annoying. Especially ones that prevent you from using the application! The whole reason for using an RSS reader is to view the published content, if the application prevents you from seeing that content, well, then, that application is completely useless.

Gee, I don't want more information, and I don't want to edit my "friends". What I want to do is read the entries!
