Anywhere Access

Store over 1,000 Microsoft Office documents and other files (500 MB available) in a password-protected location on the Internet and access them from almost any Internet-connected computer (full Firefox support for PC & Mac)
View Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Office PowerPoint or PDF documents, even if Microsoft Office is not on the computer you are using
Keep Web-based lists (eg to-do lists, guest lists and wish lists) and ad hoc notes so that they are available when needed

Share and Collaborate With Others

Give editing or view-only rights to those with whom you share access, with full document versioning and time-stamping

What was Windows Live Folders is now Windows Live SkyDrive Beta, 500MB of glorious online storage with Shared, Personal and Public Folders. I've put it to great use already as I needed to share some pretty hefty files with my colleague Westie. Get signed up now!

You can even download plug-ins to integrate your SkyDrive with Windows Live Writer and Windows Live Spaces. You can find more information at the Windows Live blog, LiveSide.net.

Here's a nifty little add-in which allows you to add maps to your meeting requests and emails. This will save me hours of fun printing directions to the numerous meetings that I travel the country for to attend. Download from http://outlook.maps.live.com.
