Who wants a migration community site?

From time to time, we host migration labs in Redmond where we invite some large customers to bring in their VB6 applications and we help them get started on the process of migrating these to VB.NET.  Blair Stephenson, one of the recent attendees, was so inspired by the proces that he went off and registered vbmigration.com.  He recently posted a blog entry  asking who was interested in having a VB migration community site. So what do you think? Is there a need for this?

All of my experiences with migration ended up with complete rewrite of the application. I would like to see how much of VB6.0 customers truely migrating the code to VB.NET. The problem of migration lays in poor-written VB 6.0 code, which almost impossible to move to OOP VB.NET.

oh dude. you'd be amazed how many people out there are still writing ASP code....

only it's in C#.

BUT it's a very good idea to have a site with articles that explain how to "migrate vb6 users brain" (think object etc... and DON'T be affraid to say that VB.NET = C# power please !)

Brady is right too, it should be a good idea to do this for asp => asp.net too

Things like delegates instead of the prior event model, etc. seem to be giving people fits for anything but simple Windows Forms applications on the order of "Hello World."
