My First Entry ...
Well, you've found my little corner of the blog space. Welcome!
I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is J Sawyer and I'm a Developer Evangelist for Microsoft based in Houston, TX. I'm associated with the Gulf Coast District, which covers South Texas and Louisiana. As a DE, I work with our broad community of developers, from enterprise developers to user groups to MVPs. It's a lot of fun most of the time ... but it's also quite bit of work as well. I've been with Microsoft a little over 4 years now and started as a consultant with Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) where I worked on some cool projects (as well as one or two that weren't that much fun). I moved to Houston from Baltimore, where I was born and raised, to be with Tracy, who is now my wife and (luckily for me) is also a developer-type.
So that's a little bit about myself. I didn't want to bore you to much with all of this background.
