SRS + MSCRM = Powerful Reporting
Hi all:
As you may or may not know, MSCRM v3 is utilizinf SQL Reporting Services. 2 cool features of this solution are the ability to create custom reports using VS.NET, and also the ability to create subscriptions to reports. So for example let;s say your VP of sales wants a sales report every Monday at 9 AM. Now instead of opening up MSCRM himself or herself and performing the necessary steps, a subscription can be set up to deleiver the required reports to the users Outlook inbox on a schedule! Very easy and very cool for a time-strapped executive.
