The 90 day trial kit is resulting in delayed sales cycle and increasing the cost of the sales cycle for the partners.

Prospects are asking for the trial kits, then request the partner for installation assistance, configuration, training of users and not pay for all of this because all of this is part of the sales cycle. Managing the presale relationship is getting tricker with this.

I think the better option would have been to have a demo CD rather than a trial kit. A VPC.
