Comment moderation

Due to comment spam, I turned on comment moderation.

When you post a comment, it won't be shown to public until I approve it.

This sucks. But I have no choice.

Why not use the Security Code feature that you can install with .Text? I do not use .Text, but Dan Bartels does. Notice the comment form...

Another option could be asking the developer of weblogs.asp.net (.Text ?) (Scott Watermasysk?) to implement manual-entry-code spam protection (as in http://www.nikhilk.net/Entry.aspx?id=49#Comments, for example).

Both of you suggested the same fix.

Of course I am just a user of weblogs.asp.net, and I have no power on the server side.

But weblogs.asp.net is considering this. You may very well see this soon in weblogs.asp.net.
