New addition to ISV Royalty Licensing program

So if you are an ISV and a Microsoft partner, you must acquaint yourself with the ISV Royalty program.  Here is a link to the program:

In this program as an ISV you receive significant discounts on software when you embed related Microsoft products into your application.  Until now the program was mostly geared for companies that wanted to embed SQL Server into their solutions.  As of last week, Microsoft Office is now part of the ISV Royalty program.  I wish I could claim victory for this addition to ISV Royalty.  As Microsoft Office was the most requested product family not in the program.  Since I can't, I'll suffice with being one of the few to announce this to the community at large. 

Ways to take advantage of this:

Now you can build an entire application on top off Office and not have to tell the customer to run down to Best Buy/Frys/Office Depot if they want to run your app.  (Think smart tags and VSTO, remember the cool demos we had last year as part of ISV Community Days?)

Or how about something around collaboration like NextPage is doing?  (I remember these guys when they were FAST...) OR tired of pivot tables in Excel, give Tableau a spin and see for yourself what data visualization can do for BI.

I think you get the point, we're putting our money where our mouth is....
