Interesting announcement on Mono from MS

So this afternoon I'm looking around for Miguel de Icaza's email address on the net. Why I didn't just check his blog in the first place, I don't know. I found it by first reading the Mono page on Wikipedia.

On the Wikipedia page for Mono, however, I noticed an announcement from MS and an announcement from Novell which I find very exciting. The wording is fairly broad in the press release, but the bottom line is Mono work can continue. Whilst I wish we would join the OIN, I am bolstered by continued efforts within MS to give back to the developer community like this.
