Self Signed Certificates on IIS7

Rob Bagby has a great post on creating self-signed certificates for IIS7 , including a screencast showing how to walk through the steps. It's not that hard to do, but if you haven't done it before it can be non-trivial.

Windows Server 2008 - The only web server you'll ever need.

I just learned about a new site that we have put together, Microsoft.com/web .  This is a very cool site that lists a bunch of great information about why to use Windows Server as your web server.  It's a great collection of resources that point

Mod_Rewrite on IIS7 (well, kind of)

No, we didn't directly port Mod-Rewrite to IIS7. But there is a great implementation of a URL rewriter module on IIS7 that will even let you import rewriting rules from Apache's Mode-Rewrite! For more information, check out Bill's post on the URLRewrite
