Introduction
My name is Nick Smith and I am a Unified Communications consultant with Microsoft. My areas of expertise are Exchange 2007 and OCS 2007. I have a degree in Computer Science and I have always looked for ways to automate tasks via scripts. Upon the release of Exchange 2007 I quickly embraced PowerShell and actually won the Exchange 2007 Scripting Contest. Winning the contest gave me chance to meet some of the Exchange product team and upon their encouragement I started blogging. My original blog was located at http://knicksmith.blogspot.com/ but now I am a Microsoft employee, I am moving it here. I joined Microsoft in September and have been trying to keep a nostril over water since. Now that I am getting settled in the new job, it is time to start blogging again...
