Tech Ed (Day 2)
So it's nearing the end of my second day at Tech Ed. It's been busy at our VSTO booth, and customers are trying out VSTO via our hands-on labs. We had two sessions yesterday given by our product team -- the first was on security and deployment. Paul Stubbs delivered this sessions and showed customers how easy it really is to deploy VSTO solutions. You can get more information about his session, and links to information about the tool he showed (how to determine if your end users have the right prerequisites) by visiting his Blog. Mike Hernandez and TQ gave a great session on what's coming in VSTO 'v3'. Participation in this session was really good, and we had a lot of great questions. One question we keep hearing is how to get the June CTP of VSTO to work with Vista. TQ posted a workaround on his Blog.
If you're at Tech Ed, be sure to stop by the VSTO booth We have two booths --one for Office (green section) and one for Dev (blue section) (you'll find me at the Dev booth).
