MSDN Magazine Articles: VSTO and VSTA
Two articles written by members of the VSTO/VSTA team made the cover of MSDN magazine. The first was co-authored by Andrew Whitechapel, entitled Business Apps: What You Need to Know About Using Office As A Development Platform. This article describes the fundamental elements of the Office platform, takes a look into Office System extensibility points and describes the available Office development toolsets.
The second article, written by Paul Stubbs, is entitled Add-in Power: Let Users Customize Your Apps with Visual Studio Tools for Applications. This article describes how Visual Studio Tools for Applications can enable end-user developers to create add-ins in managed code (Visual Basic or Visual C#) to customize your application.
