Visual Studio Extensibility Video: Creating Add-ins

We've posted a new Visual Studio Extensibility video called Customize Visual Studio by Creating Macros. This video demonstrates the built-in Visual Studio macros, and shows how to record and modify your own custom macro.

You can see other Visual Studio extensibility videos by visiting the Extensibility Center.

# re: Visual Studio Extensibility Video: Creating Add-ins

This looks really interesting, and I may finally have found authors and a source I can trust. Is there a way to use VSTO with VB2005 Express Edition?

Hi Rick,

This particular video is for creating macros to automate Visual Studio. Regarding the use of VSTO with VB 2005 Express Edition -- unfortunately, this is not supported. You can install VSTO 2005 SE (free download) on Visual Studio Professional edition (or above).
