Bing Maps at PDC - Day 1

Come learn about the Bing Maps platform at PDC09 next week in LA! Here’s a schedule of events where you can meet Bing Maps team members and learn about developing with the Bing Maps platform!

We have a couple of chalk talks and sessions where you can learn information. Here are the dates and times:

Tuesday 11/17

I will be attending PDC09 this year along with other representatives from the Bing Maps team in Los Angeles from November 17-19. Come learn about the Bing Maps platform. Visit the Bing Maps booth in the Big Room and the Bing Maps table at the Ask the Experts session. I will post more details about PDC09 soon. Hope to see you there!

Learn about the next major release of Virtual Earth. See the improvements to our parsing and geo-coding engines, clustering, localization, and routing. Hear how the new Virtual Earth Web Services provide server-side support for building location-based applications on desktops and mobile devices.

Virtual Earth at PDC 2008, Day 2 - 3

(Note:(Day 2 and 3 were fun at PDC! We've met a lot of you our customers at the Virtual Earth booth and at the Ask the Experts session. It's been great getting the chance to talk with you directly and get feedback. We will be back at the booth today in the Big Room, so please stop by to talk with us and see some cool demos if you have a chance. Also, don't forget there will be a session on Virtual Earth at 1:45 PM today in 408A that is a deep dive into some of the Virtual Earth map control and web service APIs. Hope to see you there!

PDC 2008 Day 1 - Virtual Earth Booth and Hands on Labs

It is Day 1 at PDC 2008 in LA and many stopped by to see the Virtual Earth Booth and worked on the Hands on Labs! It was nice meeting many of our customers!

The Virtual Earth Booth is right by the entrance to the Big Room and the Virtual Earth Hands On Labs are on the right side of the Big Room. Look for the pink color-coded computer screens and signs. We have 2 labs on Virtual Earth - one for the Ajax Map Control and another for the Virtual Earth Web Services. Stop by and see us the rest of the week!

Virtual Earth Team at PDC2008

The Virtual Earth Platform Team will be at PDC2008 next week in Los Angeles, October 27-30. Representing the Virtual Earth Platform development team will be me, Harish Jayanti, and Eugene Shinn. Max Artemov our development test lead will also be out there. So, come see us at the Virtual Earth booth in the Microsoft Product Pavillion each day, Hands on Lab Sessions each day, or the Ask the Experts session on Wednesday, October 29th at 6 PM in Hall G.

Mark Brown, Virtual Earth product manager, will be giving a talk on Live Services: Deep Dive on Microsoft Virtual Earth on Thursday, October 30th at 1:45 PM in 408A.
