Celso Gomes launches Nibbles Tutorials

Designer extraordinaire, Celso Gomes, has created a new blog for designers on Silverlight, Windows Presentation Foundation and Expression Studio tutorials. The coolest feature is his tutorial engine is built in Silverlight as well. The first set of tutorials on creating Silverlight apps with Expression Blend is already available.

Celso does amazing work. His fingerprints are all over the Silverlight keynote & launch content. You can spend a few minutes learning how to do some really cool things from a masterful professional designer.

Inland Empire .NET User Group Presentation

I presented to the Inland Empire .NET User Group (IEDOTNETUG) on Tuesday evening covering Web UI development with Visual Studio 2005, ASP.NET 2.0 and "Atlas." The meeting, which was held at ITT Technical Institute in San Bernardino, was started promptly at 6:30PM by James, President of IEDOTNETUG. My presentation went from 6:45-9:30PM.

I was supposed to present for 2 hours but there were so many good questions and I took time to answer each one. Additionally, there was a 15-minute break midway through. There were about 25 members in attendance which made for lively discussion on Master Pages, Site Navigation and the "Atlas" UpdatePanel control and the "Atlas" Client Script Library.

Similar to the Orlando .NET User Group, the IEDOTNETUG membership was most keen on learning how to begin using "Atlas" as quickly as possible in their existing Web sites which I thought was pretty cool.

Orlando .NET User Group Presentation

I had the honor of presenting at the Orlando .NET User Group (ONETUG) monthly meeting yesterday from 7PM-9PM. They had a fairly decent showing and are a very engaged group which made the presentation quite enjoyable and educational for me as well.
