Long Live Dominos Pizza and the Smart Client

I love the fact that dominos.com has online ordering.  I’m also amazed that from the time I submit my order to the time it shows up at the door is usually around 20 minutes.  Yet it still takes me too long to order.  The amount of time I spend on the Web site is, in my opinion, disproportionate to how long it takes the food to arrive.  I don’t want it to take more than 30 seconds to login and place my order – but it does.

I want a Windows Longhorn smart client application that could talk to dominos.com a la the amazon.com demo we saw at PDC.  Persist my preferences on my machine, grab some specials off the Internet when I launch it just to entice me to buy something else and let me click “Order.”  Don’t make me fumble around on the Web site to do the same thing I do every time.

I am a big fan of online ordering as well but have not seen that from Dominos.com. There doesn't seem to be any mention of it on their site. Can you point me in the right direction? --jeff

I order pizza online from the english site http://www.dominos.co.uk/ , one good thing about it that once I registered it always remembers my last order and allow me to reorder it again just by clicking a link on the front page. Quality pizza delivered in a few minutes, yum...
