Visual FoxPro 9.0 featured on Microsoft PressPass
A detailed press announcement has been released on
Microsoft PressPass
called
Developers Report on Power, Productivity and Extensibility of New Visual FoxPro 9.0
.
If you use Visual FoxPro, it would be great if you have a blog and post an entry about this news story. If you are a Visual FoxPro developer and do not have a blog, I suggest you create one and at least post entries on your experiences with Visual FoxPro and how your clients or employer uses it, technical tips, news, etc.
Something that every Visual FoxPro developer can do is to send an email or post feedback online to every software related magazine and news web site that you read regularly. Let the publishers know about this Microsoft PressPass story on VFP 9.0 and tell them that you would like to see them publish a story or article about Visual FoxPro 9.0. The news of this PressPass article is being sent to many IT journalists today for education on Microsoft's release of Visual FoxPro 9.0 and to promote the generation of media coverage and articles on VFP 9.0. Magazine and web site editors generally publish stories that they think their readers are most interested in. Publications they often care more about feedback from readers and developers who are their customers, so email them a request with a link to this VFP 9.0 PressPass story.
For more information on Visual FoxPro 9.0, visit the
Visual FoxPro Dev Center
web site.
