Removing a Search Folder from OWA

When I'm not in the office, I tend to use OWA almost exclusively, and I love it. My only (slight) irritation lately was that I had an old Search Folder listed, and I kind of wanted to remove it. Finally did, so I'll use this lovely technology thingie to help me remember how I did it.

  1. In Outlook (not OWA), open the E-mail Accounts dialog
  2. Switch Exchange to not use “Cached Exchange Mode“
  3. Exit Outlook
  4. Enjoy looking at the now removed Search Folder in OWA
  5. Go back and turn on Cached Exchange Mode, as I enjoy it so much.
