Removing a Search Folder from OWA
When I'm not in the office, I tend to use OWA almost exclusively, and I love it. My only (slight) irritation lately was that I had an old Search Folder listed, and I kind of wanted to remove it. Finally did, so I'll use this lovely technology thingie to help me remember how I did it.
- In Outlook (not OWA), open the E-mail Accounts dialog
- Switch Exchange to not use “Cached Exchange Mode“
- Exit Outlook
- Enjoy looking at the now removed Search Folder in OWA
- Go back and turn on Cached Exchange Mode, as I enjoy it so much.
