The Daily Prophet: Harry Potter and my Bloodshot eyes....

Ok - so what if the book was abt "The Half-Blood Prince" and not about my bloodshot eyes. Thanks to my Good "HufflePuff" friend who sent me the book from Walmart (Take that Amazon.com) on release-day just like she did 2 yrs ago for the Goblet of Fire - My weekend was spent between furniture shopping, unboxing my stuff (yeah i am yet to unpack from my move to Redmond from Philly), frequent trips to KFC and late nites spent reading about how Hermoine Granger and Ron Weasley are squibbling like teenagers at Hogwarts.

Yes - I am a major HP fan - and am not surprised that JKR was #1 on Amazon.com's top 25 best selling list. There a ton of blogs out there that scream about Shakespeare missing out on the top25. But seriously when was the last time you saw ppl pouring into Macbeth next to you - in a plane??? ofcourse if you did know ppl who do that - stay away from that. The Witches in Macbeth are not the same as the Witches from HP. Infact I am sure they dont even know some of the HP spells or have passed the O.W.L.S or their N.E.W.T.s :)

I already have 2 friends who stood in line to get their HP books this weekend. What about theme parties? Anyone guilty of doing any of that this weekend? :-)
