XBOX 360 - Botched release or NOT? Customers respond to Digg.com Article

Digg.com asked this question "Enthusiasm for the new Xbox fades heavily upon reports of all sorts of problem, including the problem of buying them. The most botched release ever?" and even gave some links to other articles through Cnet where some boxes had some issues had several customers responding... and a few blog community responses...

Made me think - but then the power of blogging brought out the voice of the customer... Tons of bloggers immediately responded to the article with positive quotes...

Ian Gibson writes - "only very few people are having problems, it is in no way a botched release - and the launch was very successful with a hype no one could have expected"

 cheezy321 writes - "lol, stupid. Most botched release ever? Hardly. PS2 have disk read errors that MANY MANY more people got. A TON of PSP's had dead pixels and sony never fixed that either. Hmmmmmmmmmm"

logicalnoise  reasons - "These reports mentioned vast numbers but can never show any proof of such comments just a few people who have had problems. I know 5 people who have em and none have had any problems."

leadhead , I had a much more personal take to it - "Oh, come on guys. you only bitch about a new console bug if your, well...bitchy. still a great product, mine hasn't had any trouble yet, I've played for at least 10 hours straight with dashboard beaks in between ;). And if your complaining about the shortage, well, that's marketing AND Microsoft told everybody, admitted up to a purposeful lack of xbox's before it came out, ALSO to top it all off, this was on the digg frontpage for a while. If your complaing about this non-perfect stuff your either: a) VERY uninformed, B) an anti-mirco bitch who is a slave to sony (or nintendo, but those guys are allright.), or C) expect waaay too much from a new system."

Either way - There have been some stray concerns raised in the market about the XBox360 admist a ton of positive feedback and I thought I might as well give links and add some feedback today :)
