The "Desi" Answer to Google....

Two Indians, who were among the co-founders of web database company 'Junglee', hope their deep search technology Kosmix can improve upon Google's one-size-fits-all approach with categorization.

Currently they have categorizations along 3 lines - Health (Beta), Politics (Alpha) and Travel (Alpha).

Oh yes -  that the media is excited about the fact that the founders of Kosmix went to school with the founders of Google is a point of interest.
